Privacy notice

Version 1

This tells you what TonicaStage keeps about you, why, and what you can ask of us. It is run by Florin Strugaru, a private person in Cyprus.

The short version

• We keep what the app needs to work, nothing more.
• No cookies, no ads, no tracking.
• Our server is in the European Union.
• We never use your data to train AI models.

What we keep

• Your account: name, email and password. The password is scrambled, so we cannot read it.
• Your team life: your organizations, your role, what you play or sing, your setlists and your answers to "Can you be there?".
• Your devices: which devices are logged in, so you stay logged in and the app can ask for an update.
• Feedback you send, so we can fix things and answer you.
• A short security log of logins and password changes. We do not store your internet address.

Your organization (a church, band, school or group) decides who is in it and what is planned. We run the app for it. A church team can say something about people's beliefs; we keep that only for the church and use it for nothing else.

On your device

Saved setlists, your marks and your choices stay on your phone or computer so the app works offline. They are not sent to us. Logging out removes your saved setlists.

Emails and feedback

We email you about your account: invitations, new passwords, security notices. Setlist emails come only if you switch them on. When you send feedback, a person answers you, and an AI assistant may help us read it. It never sees your email or password.

Trusted providers

We use trusted providers for hosting, email, support and AI assistance. Where one is outside the European Union, the safeguards the law requires apply. A list of providers is available to organizations and authorities on written request.

How long

As long as you have an account or your organization keeps your setlists. Logins, invitations and closed feedback go after a set time. Backups are kept about two weeks.

Your rights

You can ask to see, copy, correct or delete your data. Write to support@tonicahq.com from your account's email and we will answer within a month. You can also contact the data protection authority in Cyprus or where you live.

Age and changes

You need to be 16 or older, or have your organization's confirmation that a parent agrees. If we change how we use your data, we update this page and tell you in the app.
